This ONES for you Kaden.....

Remember last Easter Kaden, you found all or least most of the eggs that had money in them. Well, yesterday while Grandpa and I were cleaning out the flower beds. Guess what we found... and the money was just perfect. Better than some savings and stock accounts these days. We thought of you anyway. We'll miss you, hope you have your own Easter egg hunt!

Remembering Larry H. Miller

We thought this was a good tribute to Larry H. Miller.....Jr. Jazz. Cait we love the "Grinch" slippers. Thanks Larry!

Bonneville SALT Flats

On Sunday we had cabin fever and needed to get out of the house...we headed west and ended up in Wendover. This was the first time John and the kids had been there. On the way we stopped at the Bonneville Salt Flats, we tasted the salt and really wanted to take off on the flats but they were covered with water. Remember in "Pirates," Jack kept looking for Captain Jack Sparrow.

Happy Anniversary Shanna and Regan!

What a beautiful day that was, we can hardly believe it was 9 years ago. Today it snowed again here just like it did on that day, but putting that all aside it couldn't have been a more perfect day!

Happy Sweet Birthday Ella!

We can hardly believe that you're 2, it seems like just yesterday that you were born, but then again we say that about your mommy too. We love you!

The 16th Birthday saga continues......

Well, this has been the longest birthday I've ever seen. On Friday, Mac had some friends over to celebrate her 16th birthday. We decorated the basement with streamers (thanks Addy) and balloons. With pizza and lots of goodies they settled in with scary movies but instead watched Twilight. At midnight they decided to toilet paper some houses, but door bell ditched instead. See I must be getting soft in my old age, I don't think I would have let my older kids do that. So with a flight to Phoenix and a party on Friday, I'd say she did pretty good for her 16th!

POOP in the pool!!!!

Well, we've all had the wonderful experience of poop in the bathtub, but please not in the swimming pool! Yesterday we decided to go swimming to break up the boredom of being off track. We had just got there and had been in the pool for about 20 minutes when they blew the loudest whistle I had ever heard. The kids scrambled out of the water while I'm looking all over to see if someone has drowned. Out comes all these life guards scooping up poop. Well needless to say, they closed the pool for an hour, so we left. We did get a free pass to come another day, but I'm not so sure I want to go back for a while.
