ok, i was getting ready for work watching Good Morning America. I remember Chase was at school and I couldn't get a hold of him to tell him. When I got to work everyone was in shock and we stayed glued to the TV all day. The customers were too.
And two things that impacted me most are this... the people inside the planes. The fear they had seeing their plane going towards the building. And second, the people who jumped from the second building. The thought of them thinking they just might survive if they jump. That brings chills to me every time I think about it.
I remember that day very well, I was working at Futurvision at the time. Everyone wanted to go home, nobody was in the mood to work. But they wouldn't let us go home, so someone went and got their tv from home so that we could see what was happening. Kaden was only 9 months old, I can't believe that it has been 7 years since it happened! It was a very sad day.
I was watching tributes on 9/11 the other day and it made me think of when I was there. It was sad to think that I was standing where such and unfortunate thing happened just years earlier. It makes you put life back into perspective.
